Grand Council Treaty #3 Worked with Indigenous Solutions to develop a Round House, with separate, off-grid accomodation units and service space hosting a mix of programs to address social needs of the GCT#3 communities. The healing camp operates year-round to offer continuous training and programs, to assist in economic sustainability while generating income.

The Turtle Lodge is a sacred place for people from different clans, different nations, and communities to come together in ceremony, celebration, healing and knowledge sharing. It can hold and is a part of a variety of events; it supports extending the reach beyond participants staying at camp to include training and healing programs that bring together, spouses, family members, community networks, partners, Justice workers, and business to provide experiential based reconciliation in action, practical skills training. In partnership with Shooniya, it will bring in day-time trainees and graduates from the program to have opportunities for aftercare support activities at camp.

Situated in a remote natural setting, Gamikaan Bimaadiziwin offers on-going support to individuals beyond the westernized healing cycle of 30 days. The camp is accessible via an eight-kilometer logging road from Highway 71, intentionally disconnected from the distractions of every day life to allows guests to focus on personal healing.
